Sunny skies and highs into the 80s today (yes 80s!). The current record high temp of 78° in 2014 is in jeopardy with the forecast high being 81°.
Besides the spring to summer-like weather, winds may become gusty at points throughout the day. Expect sustained winds in the 15-20 mph range with gusts upwards of 30 mph.
Bands of showers continue to move across much of Middle Tennessee. If you have any plans today, grab the umbrella before you head out the door.

While we may see periods of heavier downpours, which could lead to some ponding of water in low-lying areas, we are not expecting any flooding issues with these showers.

Impacts
We will receive a decent amount of rainfall over the course of this system. For this reason, there is a flood watch out for both Davidson and Williamson Counties through tomorrow afternoon.
Mostly cloudy skies are hanging over Middle Tennessee for now. Temps will stay just below average with highs in the mid-40s. If you need to get something done outside today, I would go ahead and do it this morning. After lunch, scattered showers with even heavier showers tonight will begin to arrive.

Sunny today and tomorrow with temps in the low 40°s today and highs skyrocketing into the upper 50°s tomorrow. Winds tomorrow may get a bit gusty at times with winds in the 10-15 mph range and gusts upwards of 25 mph.
