Showers Return Late Tonight/Tomorrow, Dry for the Rest of the Week

Showers Possible Starting Late Tonight, a Few Strong Thunderstorms Possible Tomorrow Afternoon

Scattered showers look to start sometime late tonight and last throughout the day tomorrow.

You may want to keep the umbrella handy throughout the day.

In terms of severe weather, we are no longer included in the Storm Prediction Center’s Day Two Outlook for severe weather. We are only in the general thunderstorm category. We do lack some key components for there to be severe weather tomorrow, but nonetheless we could see a few strong storms develop in the afternoon. If any do, strong winds and localized flooding (especially in areas that saw a lot of rainfall from Nate) are the two main concerns.

Sunshine & Non-Fall Temps Continue Through the Weekend

After tomorrow, expect to settle back into one of those sunny each day with above-average temps kind of weather patterns. The good news is that all of your plans Wednesday through the weekend look to be rain-free. The not-so-good news is that our high temps will remain almost 10° above normal for the time of year.

When will fall return? There is some hope that we may dip back down into normal fall like temps sometime next week, but that’s still out in la la land forecast. Fall will come eventually.
