Temps Continue to Rise, Next Chance of Showers This Weekend

Up We Go With Our Temps, Sunny Skies Through Friday

We still have a few lingering clouds this afternoon as shown by the current satellite imagery below.

These clouds will continue to drift to the east, and decrease through the rest of the afternoon into the evening. The rest of the week appears to have plenty of sunshine.

Another point to make about the rest of the week is our temperatures. Our temperatures will continue to rise as the week moves on.

Showers Want to Re-Enter the Conversation by Saturday

By this weekend, our temps will continue to rise with no relief in sight. Highs on Sunday, and to begin next week, will be in the 70s.

On a different topic, some models want to bring some showers in on Saturday.

Latest run of the NAM likes the idea of showers.

18Z NAM from 6 PM Friday to 12 AM Sunday

And then there is the GFS that doesn’t appear to like our rain chances as much.

12Z GFS from 6 PM Friday to 12 AM Sunday

No matter which scenario plays out, Saturday does not appear to be a washout; we could just see some showers.
